What is MChart?

MChart is a navigation tool for planners to facilitate visualisation and understanding of mental health service provision and capacity in a local context.
The pilot project has been conducted in the Australian Capital Territory, Australia. and it has demonstrated the usability of the tool can be adapted to any area and health care sector.

Who is MChart for?

MChart is for mental health planners, professionals and other practitioners who want to understand local services in their context. This whole system approach includes location and characteristics of services, workforce, neighbourhoods, socio- demographics, service use, and connections between services.

Can anyone access MChart?

The Services Open Access layer is available to anyone – it provides a simple visualisation of local services. Other layers are intended for mental health planners, professionals and other practitioners and are available upon registration.
